Phaedra is an audiovisual artist born in Athens, working in handmade animation and visual storytelling.

 

She studied in the Department of Audiovisual Arts at the Ionian University, graduating in 2015. During her studies, she participated in the Erasmus program (2012–2013) at Tomas Bata University in the Czech Republic, focusing on Animation and Photography.

 

In 2016, she moved to Barcelona to pursue a Master’s degree in Stop Motion Animation at BAU, -Centro Universitario de Diseño de Barcelona- which she completed in 2017.

 

After completing her degree, she remained in Barcelona, completing an internship (Citoplasmas Stop Motion Animation Studio) and collaborating on several stop motion animation projects.

 

Currently based in Athens, she works on various animation projects and commercial productions, both 2D and stop motion techniques.

 

Her practice extends to scriptwriting and directing, which form a core part of her creative process.
